For our Feature Overview, we put our focus on bringing to light some of the broader effects of our features while emphasizing that our game is designed for exploration and experimentation. The truth is, if we sat down and talked about all the things that are actually possible in our game that would be a much, much longer video and it is perhaps best to just let our players experience the game to find out more.
Of course, we want to hear from you and we want to know what features and aspects of our game you want to learn more about so that we might highlight them in a future video or update.
Talk to us directly onĀ DiscordĀ or comment in our community hub with your questions.
Our ongoing beta
As for our beta, the first two batches of keys have been sent and we’ve begun to collect a ton of feedback from our testers. We’re working to add as many fixes as we can for the beta build and will push out another update this weekend.
For now, our testers will get to play up to 200 in-game days that will give them access to test and experience most of our game features without giving away too much of the different narrative arcs and endings that will be available in the final release of Forged of Blood.
It’s still not too late to join, follow the link here to sign up and for our next around of keys: https://forms.gle/WC6F8Y1uFiWyZnbS9
Our design, your game.
Forged of Blood is a vast and complex game, but we do not want to scare off any would-be players by that standard alone. Our character building systems are robust and our spellcrafting systems are not for the faint-hearted, but we’ve taken measures to ensure that no one will be left behind in these systems.
We’ve also worked hard to present a world with multiple narrative arcs for you to explore and myriad ending combinations that will be a direct result of your actions throughout your campaign in Attiras. These endings and the combinations are yours to discover as we’ve designed and built Forged of Blood as a game to be played across multiple playthroughs.
Exploration and experimentation is fundamental to understanding the dept of our game. To that end, we also plan on implementing sliders to control various aspects of our game to fit your style. Of course, our initial settings will be our recommended play style but we understand that every player is different and we want to empower all players to enjoy our game as they see fit.
If you have not already, don’t forget to add us to your wishlist and stay tuned to more updates.
Thank you for reading,
– Igor
